Fragile is a packing spec, not a sticker
Double-boxing with at least 5cm of cushioning on every face, individual wrapping for protruding parts, and a rigid outer carton. A FRAGILE label alone changes nothing in a sorting hub — the box has to survive a drop unaided.
Irregular shapes priced on real dimensions
Cost is quoted on the actual parcel before you confirm the booking, so an awkwardly shaped piece is a number you see up front rather than a surcharge that appears afterwards.
Same-day for local, tracked air for far
Delhi NCR orders go same-day and skip hub handling entirely, which is the safest possible route for a breakable piece. Distant orders go pan-India air or surface with tracking the buyer can follow.

One-of-a-kind pieces cannot be reshipped
When a mass-produced mug breaks, you send another. When a hand-thrown planter breaks, that piece is gone and the customer waited three weeks for it. Everything here is about reaching the customer intact the first time.

- A brass diya set or a ceramic piece, double-boxed: 1–3 kg, 30×30×25 cm
- Volumetric trap
- Light, bulky items (baskets, wall hangings) get billed on L×W×H ÷ 5000, which can be double the actual weight

- Pottery, glass and terracotta need a fragile declaration; wood, textile and metal usually do not
- Speed that fits
- Surface pan-India is the sensible default; same-day inside Delhi NCR for exhibition and gifting orders
Weekly rhythm
- 1Photograph each piece packed and again sealed. Handmade goods have no SKU photo to fall back on in a damage claim.
- 2Quote a dispatch window, not a date, for made-to-order work, and book the pickup only when the piece has fully dried or cured.
- 3Group pan-India dispatches into one pickup a week; most handicraft buyers are happy to wait a few days for something made by hand.
Packing spec
- Double-box fragile pieces: the inner box wrapped in bubble, then 5 cm of cushioning on every side inside the outer box.
- Wrap every surface that can touch another surface. Two brass items in one box will scratch each other before they leave the city.
- Mark FRAGILE and THIS SIDE UP on at least two faces of the outer box. It does not guarantee care, but it changes how the parcel is stacked.
