Bakes do not go pan-India. This page is deliberately about same-day intracity delivery inside Delhi NCR, because that is the only mode where a perishable bake arrives in the condition you made it in.

Home bakers do not ship; they deliver. A cake has to leave the kitchen, travel upright, and be on the customer's table inside a few hours, which is why this playbook is intracity-only and built around time slots rather than courier modes.

- Same-day inside Delhi NCR, booked for a slot. Pan-India is not offered for cakes, and you should not accept it
Weekly rhythm
- 1Take orders with a delivery slot, not just a date. Book the pickup for the slot so the Capptain arrives when the cake is boxed, not before.
- 2Cap daily orders by how many deliveries can leave the kitchen in a morning and an afternoon run. The delivery window, not the oven, is the real ceiling for a home bakery.
- 3Collect payment when the order is confirmed. A refused cake is a dustbin, not a return.
Packing spec
- Cake board at least 2 cm wider than the cake, in a box with a flat base and the lid taped on all four sides.
- Chill cream cakes for 30 minutes before boxing so the frosting sets for the ride.
- Fragile sticker and a THIS WAY UP arrow on the box; brownies and cookies in a separate box so they are not stacked on the cake.
